Liz Homan is a Senior Consultant for Corporate Ladders, specializing in the Life Sciences area. Her twenty years of pharmaceutical industry experience ranges from sales and account management, managed care marketing and reimbursement, data purchase and analysis to the strategic launch of a new company.
Homan works with small to mid size pharmaceutical companies to assist them in gaining a better understanding of their current managed market environment and the implications this will have on their product portfolio. Homan also works with clients to create strategies to gain the right level of market access and reimbursement, maximize profitability through improved contacting and driving pull-through.
Data is a key component for driving and measuring success in a pharmaceutical organization. Homan understands how to work with the major industry data suppliers to maximize the data spend for small to mid-size pharmaceutical companies. With the tremendous influence of third-party payors on prescription drugs, purchasing managed markets data and using it to make strategic decisions is critical. Homan has experience ensuring all stakeholders, from management to the sales representative level, have data reports they need to be effective.
Homan was a founding member of PharmaDerm, a pharmaceutical company that launched with ten sales representatives and has grown to a seventy million dollar company with sixty sales representatives. Her responsibilities included marketing, pricing, Medicaid and managed markets.
Prior to PharmaDerm, Homan worked at GSK for ten years working in small pharma contracting and developing a managed care strategy for Glaxo Dermatology. Homan also worked in the National Accounts group managing multi-million dollar contracts for the Group Purchasing Organizations.
Homan holds a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware.
